The Infinity PBR low poly series

Low poly monsters and characters for your Synty Studios world

Fully animated fantasy monsters and characters, made to fit right in with Synty Studios’ POLYGON packs.

Our friends at Synty Studios make the POLYGON series, the low poly style that a huge number of Unity games are built with. If your game is one of them, our low poly series is made for you: low poly versions of our high-fidelity monsters and characters, rebuilt in the same faceted style, with the same animations, plus mesh morphing, modular parts and color customization.

Made to sit beside POLYGON

  • The POLYGON look

Faceted, low poly models made to work with Synty Studios’ POLYGON series, so our creatures look like they belong in your POLYGON scenes.

  • Fully animated

Each character uses the same animation set as its high-fidelity version, so they’re ready for combat, movement and more.

  • Modular parts and wardrobe

Wherever possible, body parts and wardrobe are separate meshes you can turn on and off to make variants.

  • Mesh morphing

Blend shapes reshape the models, so a whole horde of the same monster doesn’t look copy-pasted.

  • The Color Shifter

Make new color sets for a low poly material, switch or randomize them in the Editor or at runtime, and export them as PNG textures. It works with low poly materials from other publishers too.

  • Heroes as well as monsters

Low poly humans, elves and half-orcs come with low poly versions of Armor Packs 1 and 2.

  • Any render pipeline

Unity 6.0 versions ship in Built-in, with URP and HDRP versions of the Color Shifter shader included. Unity 6.3 versions ship in URP.

  • VR ready

Low polygon counts keep them light enough for VR headsets and mobile devices, where every frame counts.

Questions

Do these work with Synty Studios assets?

Yes, that’s what they’re made for. The low poly series is designed to work with Synty Studios’ POLYGON packs, in the same faceted low poly style, so our monsters and characters look at home in POLYGON scenes.

Is Infinity PBR part of Synty Studios?

No. Synty Studios are friends of ours, and we made this series for people who build with their packs, but we’re separate companies and these aren’t official Synty Studios products.

Are the low poly characters animated?

Yes. They use the same animations as our high-fidelity character packs, with new models in the low poly style.

What is the Color Shifter?

An editor extension that comes with the low poly packs. It makes new color sets for a low poly material, switches or randomizes them in the Editor or at runtime, and exports them as PNG textures. It works with low poly materials from other publishers too.

Which render pipelines and Unity versions do they support?

Unity 6.0 and newer. The Unity 6.0 versions ship in the Built-in pipeline, with materials you can upgrade to URP or HDRP and URP and HDRP versions of the Color Shifter shader included. The Unity 6.3 versions ship in URP.

Is there a high-fidelity version of each character?

Yes. Every low poly character is a remodel of one of our high-fidelity packs, so you can pick the style that fits your game.

Can I try them for free?

The Monster Battle Sandbox is a free Unity project (URP) with monsters from the Low Poly Monster Bundle: a battle arena for playing with stats and enemy AI.
