The Infinity PBR high-fidelity series

Realistic fantasy characters and monsters for Unity

Fully animated dragons, humans, elves, orcs, goblins and dozens of monsters, made by Magic Pig Games since 2015 and built to be customized.

Infinity PBR’s high-fidelity packs are realistic, game-ready 3D characters and monsters for Unity. Most include mesh morphing and the Substance Painter source files for their textures, so you can make them your own instead of settling for how they shipped. The humanoids share wardrobe and armor, and many packs come with sound effects, custom music and concept art.

Why developers choose Infinity PBR

  • Change the shape

Mesh morphing (blend shapes) reshapes heads, bodies and more. The Blend Shapes Manager saves presets, sets limits and randomizes them, even at runtime, so no two monsters need to look alike.

  • Change the textures

Most characters include their Substance Painter source files. Swap materials, add dirt or shift colors, then export maps for Built-in, URP or HDRP.

  • Mix and match wardrobe

The Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs share their wardrobe. Armor, weapons, clothing and hair packs add more, and the Prefab and Object Manager equips it.

  • Animation, sound and music

Full animation sets, sound effects, and custom music with every stem and a ready-made Unity Audio Mixer, so you can remix a track to fit your level.

  • Mobile ready

These same characters ran in The Barbarian, our own action RPG for iPhone and iPad, with full shadows and lighting.

  • Concept art and bonus files

Layered, high-resolution Photoshop concept art and animation rigs, as free bonus packages on the Asset Store.

  • Any render pipeline

Unity 6.0 versions ship with Built-in materials that upgrade to URP and HDRP in the Editor. Unity 6.3 versions ship in URP.

  • Made by artists

Each creature is modeled, textured, rigged and animated by independent artists, with music by composer Nathan Clearly and sound by foley artist Matthew Dear.

Ready for AI-assisted development

More and more games are built with an AI coding assistant at your side, and Infinity PBR is set up for that. Our Unity tools, like Game Modules 4, ship with skills that teach assistants such as Claude Code and Codex how to use them. Our Discord support bot has read the full source code and documentation.

Questions

Are Infinity PBR characters mobile ready?

Yes. They ran in The Barbarian, our own action RPG for iPhone and iPad. The packs don’t include LODs, so you can make ones that fit the devices you target.

Which render pipelines do they support?

All three. The Unity 6.0 versions ship with Built-in materials that you can upgrade to URP or HDRP in the Editor, and the Unity 6.3 versions ship in URP. The Substance Painter files export maps for any of them.

Which Unity versions do they work with?

Current versions support Unity 6.0 and newer.

Can I use them in Unreal Engine or Godot?

Yes. Unreal versions of many packs are on Fab, and the models, textures and animations from the Unity Asset Store versions can be imported into Unreal or Godot 4. See our Unreal & Godot guide.

Do I need Substance Painter?

No. Every pack comes with game-ready textures. The Substance Painter source files are there for when you want to change them.

Can the armor go on my own characters?

The armor is rigged for the Infinity PBR Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs. Characters rigged with the same bones should work with it, but other rigs aren’t officially supported.

What are the bonus files?

Extra packages on the Unity Asset Store that are free once you own the main pack, such as Substance Painter files, concept art, music and animation rigs.

Is there a low poly version?

Many of the characters and monsters also come in low poly versions, made to match the POLYGON style of Synty Studios. See our low poly series.
