What’s in the pack

Armor Pack 2 has five full-body armor models, each very different from the others, with 20 unique textures between them.

Every model is modular. It’s built from many individual parts that you can turn on or off, so five sets become dozens of different looks. Helmets, gauntlets and boots each have their own textures, which means you can use them on their own, without the rest of the armor.

The armor is rigged for the Infinity PBR Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs. Those characters share wardrobe with each other, and the Prefab and Object Manager that comes with the pack equips the armor on them. It also makes it easy to add parts to wardrobe groups. A demo scene shows the armor.

Free bonus files add 4K textures, Substance Painter source files and an Unreal project. Bonus files are separate Asset Store packages that you can get for free once you own Armor Pack 2.

Make it your own

Start by mixing parts. Switch the pieces of a set on or off, or use just the helmet, gauntlets or boots.

Armor Pack 2 also works with the rest of our wardrobe. Combine it with Armor Pack 1, Clothing & Wardrobe Pack 1, Weapons & Armor Packs 1 and 2, Character Accessories and the Hair & Facial Hair pack to dress a whole cast of characters.

To change colors and materials, open the Substance Painter source files from the bonus packages. Repaint the armor, then export texture maps for the Built-in Render Pipeline, URP or HDRP.

Using it in your game

The Unity 6.0 version ships with materials and a demo in the Built-in Render Pipeline, and you can upgrade its Standard shader materials to URP or HDRP in the Editor. The Unity 6.3 version ships in URP.

Characters rigged with the same bones as our humanoids should work with the armor, but other rigs aren’t officially supported. LODs aren’t included: poly budgets differ from project to project, so we suggest making LODs that suit your platform.

For Unreal Engine, start with the Unreal project in the bonus files, and see our Unreal and Godot guide. You can also get Armor Pack 2 in the Complete 13 Pack Bundle, along with the Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs it’s made for.

It's rigged for the Infinity PBR Human, Elf and Half-Orc characters. Those three share wardrobe with each other, and the armor works on all of them.

Will Armor Pack 2 work with my own humanoid character?

Characters rigged with the same bones as our humanoids should work. Other rigs aren't officially supported, so you would need to fit the armor to them yourself.

How do I put the armor on a character?

Use the Prefab and Object Manager that comes with the pack. It equips the armor on our characters and lets you add parts to wardrobe groups.

Is Armor Pack 2 part of a bundle?

Yes. It's in the Fantasy RPG / FPS Complete 13 Pack Bundle, which also includes the Human, Elf and Half-Orc characters and our other armor and weapon packs.
