Mix and match heads, backs and tails, then take to the sky.

Dragons is a customizable, fully animated 3D dragon pack for Unity, from the Infinity PBR series by Magic Pig Games. Mix three heads, four back options and two tails, reshape them with mesh morphing, and use them on the ground or in flight.

Version 4.3.3 · updated September 18, 2026 · Unity 6.0 or newer

Highlights

  • Three heads, four backs, two tails

Mix and match the three heads, four back options and two tails to give each dragon in your game its own silhouette.

  • Mesh morphing for heads and body

Blend shapes reshape each head and the whole body. The Blend Shapes Manager saves presets, sets limits and randomizes the shapes, even at runtime.

  • Animated for ground and flight

Lots of animations cover land and air, including takeoffs and landings from an idle or a run. Facial motion is built into the animations.

  • Saddle, reins and bridle

Add the included saddle, reins and bridle when a dragon should look ready to ride.

  • Repaint in Substance Painter

The Substance Painter source files, a free bonus package, let you change the dragons' colors and materials, then export maps for Built-in, URP or HDRP.

  • Sound, particles and music

Sound effects and particle effects come in the pack. Custom music and concept art come as free bonus packages.

What’s in the pack

Dragons gives you a fully animated dragon built from parts you can swap. It has three heads, four back options and two tails, so you can mix dragons that look related without looking identical. When a dragon should look ready to ride, add the saddle, reins and bridle.

The animations cover life on the ground and in the air. Dragons take off and land from an idle or from a run, and facial motion is built into the animations. The pack also includes particle effects, sound effects, textures, materials, a prefab and a demo scene.

Free bonus packages add the Substance Painter source files, concept art, custom music, dragon eggs, solo animations, the animation rig, an Unreal project and Atavism files. Bonus files are separate Asset Store packages that you can get for free once you own Dragons.

Make it your own

Mesh morphing uses blend shapes to reshape each head and the whole body. These shapes change the model’s look rather than animate it. The Blend Shapes Manager saves looks you like as presets, sets limits for each shape and randomizes them, even at runtime, so every dragon your game spawns can look a little different.

For colors and surfaces, open the Substance Painter source files. Repaint the dragons the way your game needs, then export texture maps for the Built-in Render Pipeline, URP or HDRP.

Using it in your game

The high-fidelity series is mobile ready: characters from the series ran in The Barbarian, our action RPG for iPhone and iPad. The pack doesn’t include LODs, so create them for the devices you target.

On Unity 6.0, the materials and demo scene ship in the Built-in Render Pipeline, and you can upgrade them to URP or HDRP in the Editor. On Unity 6.3, they ship in URP. For Unreal Engine, start with the Unreal project in the bonus files. For Godot 4, see our Unreal and Godot guide.

Need an undead dragon too? Our Dragon Skeleton is made at the same size as these dragons. For a faceted style, Low Poly Character - Dragons is made to work with Synty Studios’ POLYGON packs and uses the same animations. You can also get Dragons in the Complete 13 Pack Bundle, or in RPG Character Bundle #1 with our Humans. Dragons 2, in Monster Collection #2, is a different pack.

The low poly version

The same character remodeled in a low poly style made to work with Synty Studios’ POLYGON packs, with the same animations.

Also in these bundles

Buying a bundle gets you every pack in it, usually for much less than buying them one at a time.

Questions about Dragons

Do the dragons have flying animations?

Yes. The animations cover the ground and the air, including takeoffs and landings from an idle or a run.

How do I make every dragon look different?

Combine the three heads, four back options and two tails, then reshape each head and the body with mesh morphing. The Blend Shapes Manager can randomize the shapes at runtime, and the Substance Painter source files let you repaint the textures.

Does the Dragons pack work with URP and HDRP?

Yes. The Unity 6.0 version ships with Built-in materials you can upgrade to URP or HDRP in the Editor, and the Unity 6.3 version ships in URP. The Substance Painter source files export maps for all three pipelines.

Can I use the Dragons pack in a mobile game?

The high-fidelity series is mobile ready: characters from the series ran in The Barbarian, our action RPG for iPhone and iPad. The pack doesn't include LODs, so create them to suit the devices you target.

Is there a low poly version of the Dragons pack?

Yes. Low Poly Character - Dragons is a separate pack with a faceted model made to work with Synty Studios' POLYGON packs, and it uses the same animations as this one. It's also part of Low Poly Monster Bundle 1.

Can I use the Dragons in Unreal Engine or Godot?

Yes. A free bonus package includes an Unreal project, and Godot 4 can import Asset Store packs with the Unidot Importer. Our guide at infinitypbr.com/unreal-and-godot covers both.
