What’s in the pack
The Goblin pack gives you two animated characters, a male and a female goblin. It includes a modular wardrobe for them, plus a sword and a shield taken from our Weapons & Armor packs, so your goblins can be armed from the moment they enter a scene.
Several texture sets are ready to drag and drop onto the characters, and a demo scene is included. On Unity 6.0 the materials and demo ship in the Built-in Render Pipeline, and you can upgrade the Standard Shader materials to URP or HDRP in the Editor. On Unity 6.3 they ship in URP.
Once you own the pack, two free Bonus Files packages are yours on the Asset Store as well. Bonus Files 1 has the Substance Painter files and the animation rig, and Bonus Files 2 is an Unreal project.
Make it your own
Goblins rarely travel alone, so variety matters. Mesh morphing uses blend shapes to change each goblin’s shape, and the Blend Shapes Manager script saves the looks you like as presets, sets limits on each shape and randomizes them. It works at runtime too, so every goblin you spawn can look a little different.
The modular wardrobe does the rest. Mix and match pieces so a group of goblins doesn’t read as copies of one model. The wardrobe is made for the goblin body, so it isn’t shared with our Humans, Elves and Half-Orcs, and their wardrobe and armor don’t fit the goblins.
For new colors and surface detail, open the Substance Painter files from Bonus Files 1. Paint the goblins your way, then export maps for the Built-in Render Pipeline, URP or HDRP. The animation rig is there too if you want to make animations of your own.
Bundles and the low poly Goblin
The Goblin is part of the Complete 13 Pack Bundle and of RPG Character Bundle #2, which pairs it with our Half-Orc and Elf packs.
If your project uses a faceted, low poly style, there’s a separate low poly Goblin made to work with Synty Studios’ POLYGON packs. It uses the same animations as our high-fidelity packs, comes with two goblin models and is part of Low Poly Monster Bundle 1.
